O'PRUEBA Launched iGWS 1.0 Release for 5G CPE/FWA Products in Q1 2023

O'PRUEBA today announced the launch of version 1.0 of iGWS, an all-in-one Network Operating System (NOS) for 5G CPE/FWA. It supports 4G/5G/wireless/wired and PoE network connections, providing flexible forwarding services and enabling a Far-Edge Computing architecture.
iGWS has attached to the 5G Public Network (n78) of leading telecom operators in Taiwan, achieving excellent connectivity performance and 5G transmission throughput of almost 1 Gbps. In the past year, iGWS also collaborated with major players in 5G Private Networks to meet demands in application fields such as 5G AIoT factories, smart cities, and Industrial IoT. iGWS provides excellent throughput and service quality across various leading brands of 5G systems, as well as sub-6 GHz and mmWave.
Most importantly, iGWS combines the scalability of Far-Edge Computing, leveraging the computing power of high-end 5G CPE products and supporting both x86 and ARM architectures. This enables multipurpose use in one machine, remote control, and easy operation and maintenance. Through the iGWS platform, users can achieve a solution that combines application-driven customization with cost-effectiveness.
In an age of network growth and pandemic impact, digital transformation brings challenges to businesses. The combination of iGWS and all-in-one 5G CPE not only enables rapid integration of network and applications, but also reduces network deployment CAPEX by 60% and OPEX by 80%.
This version provides high scalability and reliability. Notable features and improvements of iGWS 1.0 include single-point network slicing, never-stop connection with Hybrid WAN, scheduled diagnosis, and network topology visualization. iGWS also supports 150+ APIs to connect Controlador or 3rd-party control systems.
iGWS will continue to evolve and integrate with the upcoming centralized network orchestrator "Controlador" to provide a smoother 5G network and edge computing experience. O'PRUEBA will continue to stay at the forefront of communication technology, creating the near future led by 5G and 6G for its partners.
