Firewall
The firewall offers essential configuration options to manage network security and traffic effectively. You can specify source and destination IP addresses and ports to control where traffic originates and where it is allowed to go. Additionally, the router supports various protocol settings: Any, TCP, and UDP. "Any" allows all protocols through the firewall, for traffic management, you can setup rules to Accept, Reject, or Drop packets. Accept allows the traffic through, reject blocks it and sends a response to the source, and drop silently discards the traffic without notifying the sender. These actions enable precise control over what traffic is permitted or denied, enhancing the security of your network by allowing only authorized traffic while effectively blocking potential threats.
