Multiple WAN page show all WAN interface status,
including WAN Interface, IP Address, Status, Receiving, Sending and In Used mode (Binding, Failover or Multiple Active).
In Used Mode |

Binding |
Only one WAN is binding in VLAN. |
Failover |
Binding more than two WANs, only one WAN is connected, the other WANs are used as redundancy. |
Multiple Active |
Binding more than two WANs for VLAN 1, all WANs are enabled simultaneously. |
WAN interfaces get IP address by DHCP server, Static IP and PPPoE.
Setup Interface WAN Setting and Ping Target
The Ping Target feature is used to monitor the network connection status. By default, it setups to ping 8.8.8.8. However, in cases where the device is in a private network or not connected to the Internet, it is necessary to configure the Ping Target to the IP address of the local network's gateway or a specific local device IP address.

Setp1. Setup Port Type as WAN.

Step 2. Go to Networking > Forwarding > Port Type page.

Step 3. Select interface from LAN.

Step 4. Click “<” icon.

Step 5. Click “Apply” button.

Step 6. DHCP server will assign WAN IP address automatically.

Step 7. Go to Networking > WAN > Multiple WAN page.

Step 8. Click “Edit” icon to WAN setting page.

Step 9. Select mode as DHCP by Mode drop-down menu.

Step 10. Type Ping Target Address.

Step 11. Click “Apply” button.
